An onboard video trimming tool is now available on the countCAM4. This tool allows for the output of user selected time periods from each video reducing download times and increasing efficiency for your team. If this function is not yet installed on your device it can be unlocked by installing firmware package CC4082525. The process below outlines the steps to select and download selected time periods from the countCAM4

• Open the Videos page of the countCAM4 and click the scissor icon on the video to be trimmed.

• The Video Trimmer will open and appear as shown below

• Using the Timeline slider on the right, set the desired start and end time of the video.
  • Use the green slider to set the start time and the blue slider to set the end time.
  • Time selection is allowed in 5 minute intervals.
  • The example below is trimming the video to start at 14:00 and end at 14:30

• When the start and end times are set click DOWNLOAD TRIMMED VIDEO. A notification of the current trimming process step, and percent complete, will display.

• When the selected time period has been processed the trimmed video file will automatically download to your computer.
